Music Ensemble from St. Petersburg, Russia
Tonight at 5:00 P.M.
When it comes to worshiping with the saints in Nashville, let’s face it, “we’re spoiled.” With 105 congregations in Davidson County and literally thousands of fellow worshipers gathering every Sunday, it’s easy to be unaware of the challenges facing many of our sister congregations in the far corners of the world; the vast majority of which are thrilled when a small entourage of Christians from the States visit and the worshiping congregation swells to twenty!
I must admit when the Antioch church family was asked to host PSALOM my first thought was “what a great opportunity to encourage and support our Russian brethren!” Truth is my friends, I can remember many Sundays in far-away-places when I would be overjoyed when God would send one or two other Christians with whom I could share the Lord’s Supper.
Today, the Lord will provide us with a real gift – the opportunity to give of ourselves to our Russian brothers and sisters. Please join me this evening at 5:00 P.M. as we praise God with PSALOM and receive two blessings – the gift of PSALOM to us and the gift of US to them!
