Aooh…V.B.S….Parents dropping off their kids…sitting in a classroom studying a little book…warm kool-aid and 2 vanilla cookies…Oh, wait – that was when I was growing up! That was then. This is now: Parents have fun with their kids, families move around to see creative, funny skits teaching great lessons, and oh how the refreshments have changed!

This years’ VBS is “Bible Thrill Rides” – Lessons in Obedience featuring Jonah’s Underwater Adventure, Balaam’s Talking Donkey Ride, Elijah’s Cyclone, and Paul’s Jailhouse Rock. Each night will begin with the Bible Story presented in Radio Theater – 1940’s style. Kids, teens, and adults will enjoy the learning centers too. They are designed for all ages. Don’t forget the arts and crafts, face painting, great food, and nightly special events.

Please pray for VBS, please come and support VBS, and please bring someone with you. The boy and girls who bring the most visitors will each win a $25 gift card for Target!

Everything starts Sunday. Singing at 4:30, Radio Theater at 5:00, a free picnic at 6:30. Four inflatables will be on the field including a Giant Water Slide! Check the schedule (left) for times and activities for Monday-Wednesday evenings.

Please bring 2 liter soft drinks and home made cookies on Sunday, Jun 29. We need volunteers to set up for the picnic on Jun 29 and to clean up each night.
